WORKSHOP 1
I have made 3 suggestions to a parametric city.
This is my first, where I have a linear city. Here a point on the road which can be moved, decide the size of the buildings nearby. This town is circular.
Now you can see how they get smaller with the top view:
The next town is a town, where there is a square, which is circular, and when the square is getting bigger, the building is becoming smaller – not disappearing. When the circle is small, the buildings is coming more to the ground and more flatten, when the circle gets bigger, the buildings becomes higher and thinner.
Here you see where I make the square circle smaller/bigger:
The third option is where my roads is moving the buildings more away, but they still are there. The buildings is becoming higher from the road, and this is not made by grasshopper. They are decided from the expression: x^2+2*x, and with x is meant that the buildings high nearest by is with the number 1 and thereafter the number groves with integer numbers des longer the new roads is away. The building volumes is also made without grasshopper, and groves with one des longer the roads is apart from the main road. The first road is 3 rectangular, the next 4 and then on.
And now for the roads making bigger/Smaller:
