The value illustrates the size of the curve (road/river). When the curve expands and reaches the border of the cubes they are removed, to prevent collision.

building-orientation

This system orientates the cubes towards the moveable point by aligning the planes with the vector created from the center of the cubes to the moveable point.

population

The value illustrates the total number of cubes generated. The area is divided into three zones by cirkels, the inner cirkel display the total amount of cubes generated, while the two outer cirkels divide the number of cubes by 2 and 8. This can also be used to give the cubes different characters in the different areas.

size-vs.-distance1

The size of the cubes are determined by the distance from their center to a movable point on the curve. The closer the cube is to the point the smaller it is and vice versa.

shadow1

Here is illustrated the size of a “mesh shadow” determined by a vector. The vector reaches from the center of the box (building) to the sphere (sun) guided by a curve.

road+sideroads

The size of the ruled surface is determined by the center curves offset, which is controlled by a slider. This same slider divides the offset curves into a given number of points. This means the widder the ruled surface is the more lines is added.
